Great for anyone who likes a dance.

Easy dance steps, not too much hard work.

Lucy Benjamin's Torturcise

I bought this DVD to make a bit of a change from the aerobics DVDs I already own, which are pretty typical aerobics routines. I also thought it might help improve my co-ordination and be fun to learn a few dance moves.

The DVD moves at quite a pace, never gives you any chance to actually learn the moves and frequently the close-up is on the dancer's face and torso rather than his feet. The warm-up itself left my calf muscles burning and my knees feeling like they were going to implode. I'm not unfit - I walk at least 3 miles a day and am in constant rehearsal for various shows, as well as doing a couple of hours aerobics a week. I couldn't keep up with the pace of this and my knees didn't forgive me for days. Neither did I learn any dance moves.

My recommendation - don't bother.

Good for an ex - eastender

I thought that learning the dance moves was fun, the trainer and lucy were enthusiastic, although at times when I really needed to see the mans feet I got his lovely muscley chest! The exercise is definitely low impact and would be best used the day after a hard work out to keep the metabolism going. You also have to learn the routine thoroughly to get the best workout which may take a while. But over - all a very enjoyable exercise!Read full review...

Lucy Benjamin's Dancercise (DVD 2002)

Im not motivated enough to go to the gym. I hate exercise, but this DVD appealed to me because it isnt like exercising, its more dancing. It is easy to follow, with step by step instructions. You can do as much or as little as you like and it's FUN!Read full review...

LUCY BENJAMIN'S DANCERSISE DVD

This is a great low to medium impact routine. Lucy and her trainer gradually introduce new steps and then build them into one big routine at the end. Don't worry about getting it wrong, Lucy gets it wrong too ! The emphesis is more on dance steps than aerobic steps. If you are wanting a higher impact workout to really burn some calories, this isn't for you but it is a fun way to be more activeRead full review...

Lucy Benjamins Dancercise

Easy to follow, and good fun at the same time, would recommend to people starting exercise. The music is up beat and makes this dvd very dancerable.

Not for us beginners

In fairness, I can`t downmark this product further as it was just a case of being unsuitable for my purposes. On reading the description, I believed that it was suitable for us beginners but it is far too advanced. It was enjoyable to watch and I probably lost pounds just in viewing it lol.Read full review...

This is tricky

I think its hard work! obviously, it should be but i mean trying to keep up with the man as hes talking through the moves so fast. Then at the end, you have to put all the sections together and do a massive dance routine. Well, by then it seems so long away that you learnt the moves that you havent got a clue whats going on! lol.
I will stick at it as im sure at the mo its just me being a beginner.
