Lavish and spectaculat

It isn't better than I expected - it is what I expected from Visconti - lavish,strongly cast, visually splendid account of the life a follies of the mad King of Bavaria - not sure it is a great movie but it is certainly one that is worth watching as part if the Visconti cannon if nothing else - he made better films. People who like superhero movies won't enjoy but if you plan to go to Bavaria it will give some idea of what to expect if you visit his castle.Read full review
