Easy to use

I have only had this saw two weeks and used it quite a bit. I do a bit of wood carving bird houses, coat hooks etc so its came in very handy for that. It was easy enough to set up and use , the lights are excellent that was a deciding factor for my purchase also. As i said two weeks in and cant fault it well built and robust enough to cut through a 3” log if you take it easy and the log is dry. So far so good my friend came round for a social distance look and bought one also a couple days ago.
Happy days

Almost good

Very strange use of thrust ball race which is side-on to the blade. Bad practice. As an engineer I find this startling. A comparitve one is on eBay and the ball race is corrrectly orientated. Fortunately a have a full metal working workshop. I have made a mod to give correct orientation using smaller bearings.. Kept original parts. Side thrusts are pins, so-so. Although there is too much side play in guide supports to be meaningful. I suppose for the price it's not robbery.
Very much a bottom range tool. Extremely fiddly to set up blade. Nuts and bolts are not indented and everything slides around. Changed out for coach screws. Once set up works moderately well. Although throat size of 100mm is very optomistic as motor stalls even with the slowest feed rate on softwood.
As a toy fine or making doll's houses. 30mm is a comfortable depth of cut.

Good build quality straight cut.

For the price I think it's as good as you can get. I use mine for hobby use and it achieves a good straight cut and the work lights are a real bonus. Setting the saw up is a bit of a faff but it does work well. Build quality is good with built in safety features.
Bad bits in my opinion are a lack of a Perspex view hole to keep an eye on the blade position on the top tyre as you have to open the door and is difficult to see if it's dead centre. Blade tensioning is a bit of guesswork for a novice like me and the instruction manual doesn't give any guidance.
That's it happy with it and it all boils down to more refinements the more you pay.

Good quality/ good price.

This is a great little bandsaw, well made and good sturdy quality.
Blade cuts well. Setting up adjustments are easy.
Very competitive price. Sits well on standard height work bench 90cm.

If you get to learn and accept the niggles, it is still worth the money.

For the price, it is a nice bit of kit....however.
The light forms a shadow on thinner stock, so you cannot see the blade. The rip fence is just clamped to the base plate so needs setting up with a speed square. Btw the plate has round edges. Tracking and setting the blade does need the patience of Mother Teresa.Read full review...

Good Quality Bandsaw

Purchased this to replace a similar bandsaw made by SwitZer. After unpacking item, immediately I could tell the build quality was far more robust than my previous one. Also great is the fact that you can replace with different size blades. Would highly recommend this product for anyone wanting a hobby bandsaw for their workshopRead full review...
