Excellent Product!

Amazing upgrade, making the x99 render machines competitive again compared to newer machines. I originally was using i7 5820K 6 core 3.3Ghz-they were at the time chosen for price/performance. For rendering 2D effects these were performing fine, for 3D they were a bit too slow. The plan was initially to upgrade these to something better when the price dropped .
The E5-2697 v3 proved to be an excellent upgrade speeding up render performance 200% for a low price. making these older machines faster then our newer models (for rendering).Read full review
