Chrome in a pen sums it up Perfectly.

At first you might think these pens are a little expensive, but fear not this is a quality product which outshines everything else on the market. I use mine to add chrome detailing to diecast models, its the nearest you can get get to an actual chrome finish. Either use the nib direct or pump out some of the liquid chrome and use a fine brush (which will allow you to spread a thinner coat) super product.Read full review

Good stuff and worth a go to hide blemishes

Got as a temporary cover for some delaminated and failed chrome spots on an over rider.

Used an etch primer, and a good enough temporary repair. Obviously isn't perfect as it needs building up and is slightly off reflectivity wise but is ok for this purpose.

Would be great as a virgin finish on models as the finish is really good.

The Molotow Chrome pen, a great invention

The Molotow Chrome pen is one of the best things to hit the market for many years for us modelbuilders. Great to use on small details and makes a fantastic result real easy.

Expensive, but lasts quite a long time, so its not bad value in long run.

I have bought a couple of these over the last couple of years, I have had a nib block once, but the seller sent me out a replacement nib. Its not a cheap pen, but it has a proper chrome finish, not the silver finish many (chrome) pen seem to have and it does last a fairly long time. I must use mine 2 or three times a week, for small details on models and it lasts me at least 6 months. The one tip I can recommend is dont try and go over what you have done, it tends to block the nib and wrecks the finish of the chrome, if you dont get it in the first pass, give it a day to dry and then give it another coat. I also dries pretty hard, so it fairly durable, not childs toy durable, but good for a display model. It really does a great job and is worth the high price, buy cheap, buy twice and get a silver finish, not true chrome like this amazing pen!Read full review

Liquid Chrome in a pen.

Amazing I have tried many chrome markers for making scale models. But this is by far the best mirror like chrome finish out there.

Great chrome finish in a pencil package

This marker gives as shiny chrome finish as can be, in my eyes. Great stuff! Excellent for small details, but I have yet to learn to use it properly on bigger, flat areas (I use it for scale models).

Essential product for my project

After reading reviews from online forums I decided to place an order for this product, based on user experience entirely. The Molotow Liquid Chrome Pen 1 mm is excellent in every way. Although I shall still continue to use Bare Metal Foil for chroming my scale model cars, the pen is far better for getting at smaller details, such as window surrounds, door handles and dashboard detail. It is especially good for wheels too. Very pleased with this product and I wish I had discovered it long ago really.Read full review

Chrome pen

Absolutely awesome pen, with a very fine tip. Works really well & great for touching in missing bits of chrome on model kit parts. The finish is perfect chrome & can be used to coat small parts. Really shiny.Read full review

Chromendous!!

I admit I was sceptical about the quality of the ‘Chrome’, expecting it to be more of a shiny silver. I’m pleased to say I was dead wrong. This is Chrome in a pen!! And with a little practice it can produce perfect results painting larger areas rather than just using it for touching up.
Not cheap by any means.... But nor is the quality. Definitely recommended.

Best chrome pen I have come across.

The best chrome reproduction pen I have come across. It is very easy to apply, flows easily without flooding, and easy to clear up edges if necessary. Really good when refurbishing models. I've not encountered any negative aspects as yet. Highly recommend.Read full review
