small but powerful
I needed A video card that was low profile and without auxiliary power connections, and this was the best option available. Even after seeing benchmark scores and this being the 10xx series, I generally assumed an xx30 level card would not perform very well for gaming. Well, boy was I surprised! Not only does it play every game I've tried at 1080P with 60+FPS, it does so with mid-range quality settings. With Windows 10, the drivers installed automatically, so setup was a breeze. If you would have busted this out to game 3 years ago you would be laughing stalk of week.
Plays all my games crisp and super clean. I have like 8 of them every American model couple Asian ones asl and Galax all of them have there own little awesome secrets I had to find. Best best thing to do if you want 60 fps all I play is like AAA and e sports 1st and 3rd persons also have 5 computers. Ryzens to Intels to server gaming boards. But I found the best way to make this little Thang shine is the 720p TV with HDr all those features that people don't even know what they do click with the HDr and being 720p this card Flys. I actually accidentally found this out buying an open box 720p TV at bb. Was playing in guest room computer. I mean who doesn't have a 1030 in there guest room it's a must. Anyways I can't find someone that can tell I'm playing on 720p be on 720p makes this card act like a 1060. Almost lol. Best little secret I have found since unlocking my 460. not a good value for a refurbished gpu
Fan did not work, tried new drives reset the software, no go, tested the fan
was ok. the pcb would not turn the fan even at 90c. Had to purchase a temp
speed controller for the fan.
