It said it was second hand but that there would be no underlining or writing in the margins; there was a lot throughout the book. Most of it was in pencil, which was easy to erase. However some was in pen all over the pages.

This book is on the GCSE English curriculum and as such I have bought my son a copy so that he can annotate it without getting reprimanded in the lessons and to help him to achieve his potential. I'm not a pushy parent, just someone who wants to provide the tools for my son as he studies.
