This entire production and every part of it was as well done as anything on TV since 1930. The story is highly engaging, taking place during the dawn of modern advertising post war USA. This drama is wrapped in the cloth of an industry started in London in 1850 by a young man just getting into the advertising business, such as it was in the mid-19th century. A hundred years later Don Drapper comes along and with the excellent acting of the rest of the cast, the writing genus of Matthew Weiner brings it all to life. To put what is essentially a $100,000,000 project in a small box along with two tumbler glasses right off the booze cart out of Don Drapper's office is a gift to us fans. Pretty Ho-Hum

I would have burned out pretty quickly if I had tried to keep up with this series when it originally aired one episode a week for 6 or 7 years. I am part way into season 3 and I'm not sure if I'll make it to the end or not.
