Great film for children
Great purchase. Children love it. I wanted to collect all three Madagascar films. It is a very funny film about zoo animals and their adventures whilst in Africa and all the other characters that they meet along the way. Has music and songs in the film which the children will sing along too. Great for adults also.Read full review...

If your kids liked the first film then will love the second, children will love this if they are already a huge madagascar fan, definitely worth the watch,

This follow up of madagascar is just as funny as the first.
Its a great family film with adult humour too.
It can be watched over and over again and be just as funny 3rd time round.

Fantastic film
follow on from the second.
Bought asoon as it was released in the shops. i had my 2 sisters age 8 and 4 and my brother age 3 and my daughter age 4 watching this. It was played over and over and they still watched it.
very funny.

The zoo animals leave the island they were on from the last dvd by a penguin built plane. alex the lion, gloria the hippo, marty the zebra, melman the /giraffe, king julien land on the african savannah.
*alex's past catches up with him!!!
*Disaster strikes wheres the water gone - a sacrafice is made!
*The tourists are in for a suprise - penguins strike back !!
*Alex has an old enemy catch up with him - left with a bag wrapped round his head lol
*melman finds love
*marty finds himself questioning himself sadness only leaves to happyness :-)

Excellent, and value for money
Excellent quality ,bought from ebay as couldn`t find it anywhere else . great family entertainment would recommend to anyone with small children to watch this film it`s great .

It's always more difficult coming up with a sequel but if you enjoyed the first film, you'll like this one as well. It's good to watch with younger members of the family and there are some good one-liners. It's a nice idea to find out the roots of Alex's life and they do recapture the fun of the first film but also add morals in the story.Read full review...
Prefer the first Madagascar DVD
I bought this dvd because i was fed up watching the first one over and over again with my grandson. We still watch the first one over and over again. He cant get into this one at all. Superb family fun and entertainment.
Every bit as good, may be even better, than the first offering. With the same actors supplying the voices the star of the film is undoubtedly the Little old Granny'. Great family film that will keep youngsters, of whatever age from 10 to 80 entertained.Read full review...
