Madame Bovary

This movie is long. But the acting is beyond belief. It’s another of her collaborations with director Claude Chabrol and it works wonderfully. His direction is a beautiful example of what it means to be a true artist. Huppert (as always) owns the screen and takes our breath away with her acting. She is not playing a character….she IS the character. It’s not your typical love story, but it is a great movie about love and desire.Read full review...
