This is one of the easiest things to change and makes such a HUGE difference. The light is much brighter and the batteries last soooo much longer!

LED bulb makes bright spot light in Maglite, not quite as good adjusted as flood light.

I put this bulb in a 3 D-cell Maglite. It is very bright and will shine a bright spot on the side of the barn 100 feet away. I gave it 4 stars because when I fan the light out with Maglite's focus ability, the light becomes uneven with a darker spot appearing in the center of the light.
