Works great, rewinds fast!

Since we're livin' in the '80's, we still love to rewind our VHS tapes while extending the life of our VHS player. This new old stock rewinder works great!

Poor design

It rumbled and rumbled until it broke.

I now use an old VCR for rewinding, since it is already damaged goods and has no other use.

I initially had to jiggle the unit to make it work. Also, I have to manually insert my fingers in to the VCR to get the rewinder out of the VCR.

cheesy piece of machinery

The product does not appear to be new. It doesn't close all the way, and was no where near worth $50. The old rewinder that I had works better than the one they sent
