MLB 2K7 or 2K8

This game is essentially the same as MLB2K7 with updated rosters.
I think even the same commentary sound bites have been used for most of the game.

I still rate game as beacuse I believe the game play and graphics are solid. The game scoring however (recording of errors and saves) can be an issue for the purest as quite often are scored incorrectly. I don't know why they do not record holds either. Last time I checked it was now a recognised MLB statistic.

If you are not interested in the current game roster's, save some money and buy last year's game, you will not miss out on much.

MLB 2K8 (PS2)

I like the graphics and the mechanics involved for pitching, hitting, etc. For pitching, it's more than just hitting a button to select a pitch. Timing is involved. You select the pitch, and hit the button again for accuracy. For hitting, I like that you can take different swings at the ball. There is a button for making contact. And, there's another button for a power swing (going for the fences). I'm still learning the game, but very satisfied with what I've seen so far. The game is okay. The reason I bought it is because i'm a baseball fan and I thought I would really like. I'm not a gamer I almost never play video games, but I thought I would give this a shot because it has something to do with sports. Great Game, BUT.......

Great Game, BUT.......the game still has a bunch of gliches just like the previous years. It sometimes calls out the wrong team/player. n a lot of fielding glitches.

Pretty good game. Takes time getting used to tho...

Kinda hard to figure out the controls at first, but it just takes getting used to. It turned out to be a game worth playing.
