Dab + radio factory reset! Girton 2
Received the radio plugged it in and said ..no station..all that was showing was f m !..plus the radio channels that were picking up were the same as my old stereo!..all for sending back when I read the trouble shooting and decided to do a factory reset !.wham bam !!..every dab + channel going! ..so happy !..so moral of the story is ..if you have problems with the channels do a factory reset !...I can say it is a brilliant sounding radio and picks up great even though I live in a valley. DAB+ Stereo Gem
This is a great stereo radio which I had to buy as my old Roberts one couldn't be upgraded to receive DAB+ stations. Looks smart, sounds good and tunes in easily. I bought it a a re-furbished item and it arrived in its correct box and in mint condition - probably better than when it came off the production line as I assume it would have been properly looked over.
The advantage of this set is it plugs into the mains with a standard 3 pin plug and is fully portable too with 4 x C type batteries - I bought some re-chargeable ones for it so I can listen to it in the garden. Read full review

Great value, good slound
This is my second Girton as a Bush DAB Radio recently "died". I use the first Girton upstairs as an alarm radio and the other downstairs in the kitchen. Very pleased with both. They feel solid and sound good to me. Also they have more pre-sets than many other models.
I am not prepared to pay the high prices of some DAB radios, particularly Roberts and Pure. My Roberts Ecologic lost its on-off switch after modest use and I have a Pure Evoke that is ridiculoulsy complicated. So much so that I leave the Evoke tuned to one Internet radio station so thast I merely have to switch on and off. If I want another Internet radiop station, I use my tablet linked by bluetooth to my hi-fi.

The Majority Girton 2 radio is excellent, so I bought two.. It's a DAB+ and FM radio, ensure your radio purchase is DAB+, otherwise you will have loads of phantom stations that you can't actually receive.
The Girton 2 has good quality controls which don't skip or glitch like my Daewoo DAB+, easy to operate in the dark and has a dimmable simple screen, making for a good bedside radio. Good quality stereo sound, not tinny or too bassy, well built and attractive. It has a 3.5mm stereo headphone socket on the back which can connect to a stereo hi-fi.
