Makita Palm 1/4 sheet Sander 5 Stars
The Makita 1/4 sheet sander is a great tool compared to a 1/3 sheet sander, or a detail Sander. The clamp paper holders are excellent certainly compared to Velcro types, the movement of the head uses the whole of the surface of the paper it is also comfortable to hold and doesn't transfer as much vibration onto your hand. It is also well built and the power cord is usefully long. A pleasure to own and use.Read full review...

Compact & Versatile Palm Sander
This Palm Sander is compact, versatile and robust with a strong motor. Changing the abrasive paper is quick to do, and the clamps hold the paper in place taught without slackening. It is excellent at getting into the corners and easy to control.Read full review...

Makita Palm Sander
Good well balanced palm sander, have used it for several hours so far without any problems.
My only complaint is the length of the cable is too short and considering its low power rating the large diameter power cable looks as though it would power a 3 kilowatt oven. The cable, as short as it is, tends to be a little problematic due to its size. Other than this it is good value for the money.Read full review...

Great Sander But......
Makita make great power tools, this is no exception, but the dust extraction facility is hopeless. Hardly any dust ends up in the bag. Apart from that it’s a great sander, the sandpaper provided is 10mm too short, only just clips in place.Read full review...

Sanding All Good
Best palm sander.
I have the one before this possibly anyway this is a hand sander that one can safely use up High ladders, awkward one hand situations once accustomed to its movement & the finish is excellent.
I’m the sander the one that does more it seems within my crew.
We All have worked in 5*, the wealthy dwellings & domestic.
This has lasted over 4 years, I’ve cut & extended the cord so No need for extension lead, added gaffer tape when the foam wears on square base.
Invest in an Mdf style dust mask as this can really fine finish.
I will only buy this.Read full review...

Orbital sander
Works well and is easy to use. Cannot say how reliable the sander is because I have only had it a short time. Highly recommended.

Best small sander you can buy. Long lasting, years of continual use. Light and ergonomic . Fast changing of sandpaper. 10/10 sander.
But one it’s the best sander by far to use. It will last years of use.

Makita strike again
Had a palm sander previously which lasted me for years , finally gave up on me was cheaper to buy a new sander , opted for this one works great low noise output, but the lead could be at least a foot 300mm longer other than that a Greta tool Read full review...

Brilliant sander
I have just sanded my interior wooden kitchen door and fiddly door frame. This is the first time I have done anything like this and the sander made light work of it. Very impressed. The dust bag is really good and captured most of the sand dust 😊Read full review...

Sturdy and long lasting
Am replacing my old one which was abused at work for 9 years before the bottom plate wore through and it started making a noise. As a professional decorator it is indespensible! My colleague went through 3 other makes in that time!Read full review...
