Excellent Drill for heavy duty home use.
Have used the drill to attach a heavy duty oak mantel to a chimney breast made of engineering bricks. Also attached curtain poles to concrete window lintels. Used drill to attach bolt down post holders to a concrete patio. All in the first fortnight of ownership and the drill performed brilliantly. As SDS drills go it is not heavy and cumbersome and I would recommend this tool to anyone who needs to carry out more heavy duty tasks around the house.Read full review

Amazing value for money

I had to put four concrete posts into the ground to replace the old broken cement incased wooden ones ..digging them out was a problem with the concrete until I tried the hammer /chisel function on the drill with a chisel bit it went through the concrete with ease saving me loads of time and labour .
When drilling the the concrete posts to hang the gate fittings once again the drill went through the reinforced concrete posts with ease ...for the price you wont get a better sds drill ,amazing value for moneyRead full review

Nice lightweight SDS drill

A nice lightweight SDS drill. Always with power tools the thing to look at is the quality of the box and in this case it's solid enough with reasonable catches. The shortcoming is that there is not enough space for a reasonable amount of drill bits inside.

The drill has a decent length of flexible cable and is quite light compared to my old one which might prove in time to result in shorter life expectancy.

I'd say that it's OK for occasional use but I'd get something more robust for every day - but you knew that given the price didn't you?Read full review
