Marita BHX2501 Blower

This is just a great little tool!
Over the years I have owned several makes of blower, some are perhaps more powerful but are noisy, require two stroke fuel and indeed are much more expensive. (Unless you risk a dodgy make).
I am retired now but worked for several years as a research technician for a major Japanese motorcycle manufacturer, I mention this because I would slot into the "Petrol Head" division and as such I would say the engine in this blower is a Jem. It is well built using good quality castings, starts so easily - anyone saying different should perhaps read the instructions and is very easy on fuel.
I would strongly recommend to all.

Blower is great but the vac isnt

The four stoke engine is great reasonably quiet and no horrid 2 stroke smell.
The vacuum bought as an extra I find clunky and hard to use.

makita 2501 leaf blower

easy to assemble & set up very easy to start 2 0r 3 pumps on the primer full choke & it has always started first or second pull. Runs very quietly due to the 4 stroke engine,i have fitted an over the shoulder sling to mine to take the weight at full arm stretch, which makes it that bit less tiring to use over prolonged periods[should have been supplied as standard].The only other criticism i have is that if you are right handed the air intake might pull your trousers or skirt over it, reducing air flow.
But if i had my time again would i buy the Makita BHX 2501. YES

Vast improvemenent on the old two stroke.

Bought this machine because my old Makita had packed up after many year's work, I had left it in the glass house during very hot weather and cooked the carb.
It arrived as promised, with a tiny bottle of sump oil, I put the oil in the sump and YES!! it WAS the correct amount.
The machine is quieter, more powerful and uses much lees fuel than the previous two stroke machine, as well as being easy to start.
A vast improvement on the old two stroke machine.

One of the better quality machines

A great machine, reliable and very easy to use. A further plus it's petrol only, not two stroke, for me it's to messy.
Found it very handy for lots of other uses also.
1. Broom is now redundant
2. Blowing excess water off car after
washing

Great bit of kit

Although pricey, I felt that I was buying a quality product. Having used it, it really does make light work of the thousands of pine needles around the house. Unbelievably quiet and so simple to start. Also makes you feel somewhat invincible when you use it! 😁Read full review...

Quiet and easy to use

The product was better than I expected it to be - it was easy to assemble, started first time, is very controllable - not very heavy and given that it is a petrol engine impressed me how little noise it produced. The only slightly hard part was filling it with oil to start with - if you pour in you have to be careful to do it in small amounts at a time since it only allows the oil in at a slow rate - pour to fast and it comes back out again.
Blowing force seemed t be very good - even on tick over it was quite powerful. I went for the 4 stroke to try and keep the noise down and this product seems to fit this requirement.
Just ensure you read the warnings before you use the equipment and you should have no problems.

Mini hurricane hand tool

A fine piece of kit for the garden or open space which needs clearing of leaves, blossom or general litter.
Im a outdoor worker so i needed a leaf blower to assist me with my workload
Its a 4-stroke engine out-putting a mini hurricane
fuel is unleaded into a decent size petrol tank with a seperate oil reservoir so no more mixing
Pull cord start up & push button cut-off
Can also convert to a garden vacum (kit sold seperately)

Fluffing great item

Bought this to fluff up the new artificial grass that was put down in back garden and this machine does the job perfectly and with it being a 4stroke engine doesn't make as much noise as a 2stroke machine would've done.Read full review...
