You can't beat a Makita
It's lightweight very easy to use, comes with a saw blade too which is a bonus. This tool is a must for Roofers when installing battens, it cuts through a 2 x 1 like a knife through butter, it's quicker than a hand saw and saves lots of time. A brilliant purchase, value for money. This will serve me for all my future roof work. You can't beat a Makita.Read full review

It may be small, but it cuts deep. Lighter than most. Had my first one 6 years. Trigger is now sticking. Can't be without it. Need to get it in to be serviced. Bought this one to use meanwhile. Great, I'll have two soon. Read full review
