The Superman Story for a New Generation
Man of Steel is a re-boot of the Superman saga, from his escape from the Planet Krypton, to the Kent family in Kansas. As Kal-El / Clark Kent grows he learns of his super powers, but his earthly father cautions him never to display those powers.
General Zod had been banished to the Phantom Zone for treason against the government of Krypton, but escapes after Krypton explodes. He heads to Earth, hoping to establish a new Krypton, which sets up the final battle between Kal-El and Zod.
It’s been since 1978 since the Superman story was told, so a re-boot makes sense at this point for the generation that hasn’t heard the story.
The movie was released 2D, 3D an IMAX versions. The 3D was “post production” so the sense of depth is very good, but not much “pop out” effects.

To me this Superman movie is this most action pack of all of them. What it lacks in story in makes up in action and visual style. To me it is big improvement over Superman Returns. Henry Cavill gives a soild performance with slight edge. Overall a very good movie.Read full review

Great fight scenes that work well in 3D. If you don't have a 3D TV or projector you can use a PS VR for a similar experience. That's what I used prior to getting a 3D TV.
