Compact but versatile

Bought this item to replace an identical tripod head I've been using for almost 20 years. I have always found it to be up to the task even when I moved from film to digital - using a Nikon d300 with a variety of lenses.Read full review...

Excellent product

Light weight if this is important to you (not for me as it is used on a Benbo tripod that weighs a ton anyway)
Well engineered, good grip on the controls, quick-release works well. Copes well with large equipment.
Only real fault: the spirit level is a single multi-directional (circular) one that only works in the horizontal setting - put the camera in portrait mode and it is useless. It would be better to have two linear ones at right-angles, then one would still function.Read full review...
