Sucking amazing!

Absolutely love this beast of an extractor. Replaced a 100m3 extractor that was just not up to extracting steam from a power shower, in a small bathroom. This new extractor doesn’t give the steam a chance to escape the enclosure now - it all goes up the pipe. Steam free mirror every time! Easy to install, but needs room (it was twice the size of my old fan). The design is very adaptable in that the main unit can be rotated in its support frame to suit your space.Read full review

replacement of original after 15 years service

The run on timer adjustment was very sensitive, tiny adjustments gave large time changes 5mins to 30mins approx 1/8 turn total and some adjustments had no effect, I thought unit was faulty until I found that disconnecting all power between adjustments was necessary, (not in set up instructions) then very tiny adjustments still overshot or undershot the desired run on time . Patience is required it took all afternoon climbing up and down to the loft space to set 10mins.
Seems stable after a week of use, main bathroom.

Excellent product

I installed this bathroom extractor fan in the loft. It was very easy to wire in although a little fiddly. I mounted it on an insulated base which has eliminated all noise from inside the bathroom. This is the third fan of this type we have installed over a 15 year period but this might be down to it being a rental property where the vents were obstructed with dirt and the ducting Itself was very furred up.
I would definitely recommend this product. It arrived within the time period specified and was the best price I could find.

Massive improvement

Compared to the old silavent unit that was in our bathroom, which was about as effective as an asthmatic with a straw (and broke after 3 years anyway), this unit is brilliant. 3 speed settings and a variable timer. Also, it’s pretty quiet, with the main noise associated to the volume of air flow that it draws. The room clears quickly of steam now, so there is less condensation so there will be less mould. Happy days!Read full review

Fantastic

Good fan and more effective at extracting shower mist than previous fans. It’s larger than I expected but easily fitted in the loft. It requires a 3 amp fused double pole spur switch which might confuse a few DIYers particularly the timer version which has 2 live supplies. Might be worth googling how other people have dealt with this. The existing fan just wired directly into the 5amp lighting circuit. Read full review

Excellent fan, actually a Manrose MF100T

This is a Manrose MF100T, the only reason I bought it was that it was slightly cheaper than one branded as Manrose. It has a much larger output than a standard bathroom fan which I find rather feeble in comparison. Much better at clearing steamy air from the bathroom quickly. I bought it to replace the same Manrose model which had stopped working after just under 5 years, which was disappointing.Read full review

Good product and working well

I have only had this extractor fan for two weeks and it is much quieter and seems more efficient than the previous one.

As I have a bath in the morning and don't want to use the light, instead of being wired through the light, it has been connected to a pull cord switch with a neon light and all is working well including the timer.Read full review

Impressed

I read many reviews before buying this fan. One claimed it was so good the mirror no longer mists.

This is not the case with my installation and it's summer and hot so I can only assume it will be worse when colder.

However the fan itself is not very loud but there is a reassuring noise from the air being sucked into the vent. This doesn't change much in volume whether on slow or fast mode.

I found the low humming noise from the fan vibration to be less in fast mode. (I have the fan mounted to a piece of plywood attached across 2 beams so that probably doesn't help with acoustics.)
I have the timer set at its lowest which is just short of 2 minutes. It may get changed when it gets colder.

Instructions for installation were easy for me to follow. (I'm just a DIYer.)

Quiet extractor fan

Thought my old fan had broken so ordered this replacement. Turned out there was an electrical fault in the isolator switch, so now I have a spare. This one runs quietly and does the job well. It was a good price. Dont know why it is coloured white and black as it is hidden in the loft and wont be seen.Read full review

Best price for high quality Manrose inline fan

Best price for high quality Manrose inline fan. Not used yet but my last one lasted 18 years regular use and is only just starting to sound a little noisy. High 100mm air change,
