the only problem I have with this CD changer is that it has a carousel disk holder and not a cartridge. Because of the carousel changer the Marantz CC4300 is "deeper" in dimension than what I previously owned and it doesn't fit in my stereo cabinet. It's about 2 inches too long! The sound is superior to most other popular brands in the market. Choosing a changer over a single play unit you are always going to sacrifice some quality sound, but in the case of the Marantz you sacrifice operational simplicity with the Random feature and use of the remote control limitations.
