So So please read
8 out of 10 lost all the whiteness to my slate clock but still left a bit of shadowing, instructions tell you to bees wax afterwards !!!! DONT beeswax will spoil any finish made with Marblack just a nice buff with a clean cloth after using marblack is sufficient, tried two types of beeswax both too me back nearly to square one, ( keep beeswax for your table tops not your slate clocks )Read full review

A superb product for slate clock restoration
I was restoring a black slate clock that belonged to my Grandfather in the late 19th century, it was very soiled . Once cleaned it was very grey looking . I found this product on eBay and it worked superbly. Following the instructions I prepared the surface, applied the dye. a quick wax polish left it looking almost like new. I have enough dye left to do it again for the next 200 yearsRead full review
