Worth buying this CD for Destiny and The Waiting Line ~

First off, I LOVE the songs Destiny* and The Waiting Line** and listen to them in my car over and over again. Those two tracks speak to me and calm me. There are also several other tracks that are similarly calming. Other songs are wonderfully deep and thought provoking. This is not a pop album, Thank God! This is contemplative music for adults.
*Many will recognize Destiny from those SKY TV Movie ads featuring the Star Wars films.
**The Waiting Line was featured in TV show Sex And The City. The episode where Carrie nurses Big back to health after his heart condition.
Wonderful album. A sound buy!

Zero 7. Not really!!! Super sub-Zero 7. Fantastic.

If you like chill out stuff, this is a must. If you get a copy I'll be very surprised if you don't play it 4 or 5 times before you change it for another Zero 7 album. I bought a load of mini disks off Ebay and this was on one of them. I just had to get the original CD. Have a look about and get a copy...... NOW.

You Must Buy This Album - Grech is a Genius

This is the 1st album I have reviewed, but I noticed it has yet to be reviewed, and it so good, I just had to rave about it.
If you liked Open Heart Zoo by Grech released in 2002, you will love this album. I wondered if Unholy could be as good as Open Heart Zoo (and this album was great) and maybe Grech may have run out of ideas as some artists do with their second album - not a bit of it. It maintains the dark mysterious deep rock/indie of Open Heart Zoo, except the lyrics are more audible, and the music is even deeper. Once again, Grech has left the best track to the end (Elixir) - which I personally love as you can hear the album again and realise that all the tracks before fit in perfectly and sound even better 2nd time round, and Grech has once again left a hidden track at the end. Grech is a unique musical genius and his music reflects this. Just buy this album.Read full review...

Zero -7 Simple Things

If you like bands like Air with that electro sound and smooth flowing baselines you will appreciate this cozy album.
We were round at a friend’s house and needed some chilling music after an evening of 80’s music. Put this in the CD player and job done!!!
My favourite tracks are “Destiny”, “Distractions” and “In the waiting line” who are served with the brilliant vocals of Sophie Barker and Sia Furler. I also loved the soulful voice of Mozez on “Simple things”
A perfect album for relaxing to or background music for a party.

Enjoy!

Zero isn't the score

My son first introduced me to the music of Zero 7 and it is amazing. It is so soothing to listen to. There isn't a bad track on the cd - I play it from start to finish every time. It was a great buy for me.Read full review...

Unholy - Unusual!!

Yet another experimental purchase of an album by someone I had heard very little of.
Some interesting stuff on it, but by and large, I think it`s an aquired taste;and unless already a fan of his style. it can come across as a bit "off the wall".
However there are some major progressive moments akin to Radiohead and Anathema.so this album is worth checking out if you like these bands.
On the other hand,if you like radio friendly, blues based rock, then stay clear of this.
