Martin Strings Disappointing

They were already corroded in small spots and the high E strings are very prone to breaking if you stretch them too high . These Mexican strings are lower quality than I have previously purchased and I believe they are using inferior steel in the manufacture now.They sound ok but not as bright as they used to . One even broke as I unwound it ready to fit . Do not buy these strings .Read full review

Brassy sound..

Martin guitar strings are good but there are better..
A bit brassy in sound for me but sound is a very personal thing and there will be other musicians who probably love that sound!

Cheap and they feel like it

Cheapest strings I could find. They do the job okay and hold tunings well but are rather rough to touch. They're not bad but I personally will probably be investing a little more and buying some elixrs next time I replace them.Read full review
