Should have been a great game!

The game has good graphics and good theme. It should have been an amazing game to play with kids because it’s not over violent like most other versions. The problem is with the co op play. Gameplay could be a lot better, but good for fans of the SuperHero Squad

Everything that's good about this game, you can see on the box. Everything that's not shown on the box (such as gameplay, camera work etc.) is mediocre at best. The worst thing about this game is the two-player mode. The camera only follows the lead character so the 2nd player is left many times off-camera, very annoying.
However, not all is bad, as aimed for lower-age players the game is easy enough to play and control even by 7yr-olds and violence is kept to a minimum, so that the younger fans of the series would still like this. Do note anybody over the age of 12 will probably find this game repetitive and boring.Read full review...

Excellent Kids Game!

I would have to say its fun to play and the battle is kid friendly. Yes this does make your kids jump for joy to beat up their favorite villian. Game play very easy for my two 8year olds. The graphics are great! Most levels of play are simple enough for enjoyment but not all just about fighting for you have to have skill of combat and eye to hand guided platform play. SHS for PS2: Fans only! Everyone else, stay away!

LIKED:
1) the voice-acting and humour of the TV show is intact and nicely done.

DISLIKED:
1) repetitive fights with palette-swapped bad guys, mashing one button or the other.
2) unpleasant sequences that require button sequence memorization.
3) In co-operative mode, the camera follows Player 1, frequently leaving Player 2 completely off the screen for long stretches of time (swarmed by enemies, falling into pits). I can't stress how frustrating this is.

Recommendation: Fans of "Super Hero Squad" only.Read full review...

Stupidly, inferiorly designed game. No FUN!!!!!!

Stupid game. Does not allow beginner to advance to next level. Continuously adding things even after the level has been cleared. Do not waste your money on this game.
