Ultimate Alliance

This is a great game, but the camera view could be a whole lot better if a little thought was put into it. All in all, the add-on that goes with the game was an awesome idea. They included 4 playable villians and 4 playable heroes in the add on. The only bad part was that you had to purchase them through X Box live to get them.
The ability to switch between characters was good, but some were not as great as the others were. I got this game mainly because I wanted to improve my gamerscore without going online. There are alot of secret achievements that are in this game that need to be unlocked. I hope none of them are for online playing!
I would give this game a 7 out of 10 due to the camera angle and the variety of characters to choose from. The main reason I got this game was because of the next release they have coming out soon!!

Review of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Forza 2

What I liked about Marvel: Ultimate Alliance was that you have complete control over many aspects of the game. You get to choose from a lot of super heroes and also get to unlock and choose different costumes for the super hero. There are many challenges and many different levels that always keep you on your feet and thinking over what super heroes you truly want to use. You can also choose what dialogue you choose to say and what answers you would like to reply. It is a fun game to play for all ages. Most of the super heroes are in the game that recently hit the big screen such as X-Men, Fantastic 4, Silver Surfer, Dr. Doom, Magneto, Sabretooth, Spiderman, and Daredevil. Along with the original game being excellent, there is online content to character packs to videos showing you how to use individual super heroes powers to their full potential and better enhancing the way you experience the game.

Forza 2 is by far the best driving game on the XBOX 360 console. You can start a career with only 16 credits and build your legacy against computers of all different difficulties and cars racing your way through your career to collect custom cars, racing cars, or luxury cars. You can paint every car, add upgrades to anything and add designs and letters to everything. Every one can have a car but not everyone gets to put their name on the side of their brand new car they saved up for for so long! Forza 2 puts you in the driver seat and takes you for a ride around more than ten tracks with high detail to cars, surroundings, stands, and pits. I have played many racing games and not many evern come close to amounting to what Forza has accomplished with Forza 2.

Best Comic Book Game To Date

If you don't own this game yet don't buy this version. Get the new Marvel Ultimate Alliance: GOLD EDITION. It includes 8 additional characters.

The Gold Edition will include 4 heroes The Hulk, Cyclops, Hawkeye, and Nightcrawler as well as 4 villans Doctor Doom, Magneto, Venom, and Sabretooth.
These characters are not playable on this edition.

There is currently no word on if these characters will be made available for the PS3, Wii or PC.

These additional characters make this game better on the Xbox 360 than any other system.

if it aint broke...

this is pretty much the same game as those x-men games from a few years ago. Four person teams hacking theyre way through mountains of bad guys. Its everything you could want in a superhero game. And since its old, you can get it dirt cheap. the best part is, anyone can pick it up. My wife hates hack and slash games, but since she can play as Iron man (she gets all hot and bothered over tony stark), she's all in. Same thing for my brother an his girl friend. She's not huge into games, but she'll play that with him for hours. Also a perfect party game.Read full review...

Very good game

This game has a great single-player mode, it will take you quite a few hours to get through. you can get a lot of characters in this game, and the best thing about the 360 version is you can get up to 10 new characters because the 360 version has originally 2 more, than you can buy 8 more on xbox live for about $10.00USD which isn't so bad. I love the multi-player for this game though. It is so easy and fun to just pick up and play with multiple people. The graphics are pretty good, but the graphics on a game like this aren't meant to be amazing. The sound is pretty good to. Each character has their own unique special moves which I love a lot. This game is for sure worth what the average price is right now.Read full review...

Blast from the past

This game was as good back then as it is now. Marvel ultimate alliance captures the best thing about the marvel comics and puts them into a game with a original story. Huge selection of characters as-well, more if you get the gold edition. Overall is a 8/10 game. But honestly it wouldn’t have been enjoyable unless you at least have one friend or your just switching constantly.Read full review...

Super Heroes to the Rescue Again

Graphics [9/10]
----------------
To put it bluntly, the graphics are stunning. The characters, environments, the enemies, all well detailed. You'll find yourself gazing at the background from time to time be it you're in an industrial complex or a hellish dimension. Admittedly, there are points where if feels as if you've been in the same area before due to similarity in room design from stage to stage, but that's assuming you're not busy trying to survive from an onslaught of minions. One major flaw, however, are drops in the frame-rate, causing hiccups in action. However, you'll find them forgivable.

Controls [8/10]
----------------
Fairly intuitive here. Two buttons act as combat buttons (weak & strong), while you have your jump, block, and grab buttons. The triggers bring up mini-menus that allow you to use special abilities or issue commands to your A.I. partners. Everything is in order here.

Sound [7/10]
--------------
A bit disappointing in this department. Right off the bat, the voice acting is probably the biggest complaint here. Some of the characters just don't seem right (ex. Colossus and Thor really stand out, not in a good way) while others are fine and fitting. The background music is okay, nothing really wow-inspiring or amazing however they suffice.

Gameplay [8/10]
-----------------
The gameplay is really hit or miss with its audience. If you enjoy pure, hack n' slash action then MUA delivers it in spades. If you find that you get bored relatively easily with hack n' slash games, then this'll be a rental for you. Either way you look at it, the gameplay is solid and delivers the action you've been seeking with the RPG options (stat upgrade, equipment selection, etc). In the first stage, you'll already find yourself fighting off five villains from the Marvel Universe. From there, they just get bigger and nastier (c'mon, would you expect any less?). As soon as you start the game, you'll have roughly 20 some characters at your disposal with four unlockable characters; add to that each character has at least four different, unlockable costume options that alter their stats. An impressive list, though some fans may be disappointed with who made the roster (ex. So I get Luke Cage but no Hulk? Huh...). MUA also features nice multiplayer options, with you being able to grab a friend and do up to four-player co-op in the middle of any stage (stuck in a rut? Grab your friend and see if he can help you). Don't have friends you can call on? Get yourself on Live and team-up, or go for some head-to-head competition. However, online is rather lag-prone (as with other games, but if you thought single-stutter was bad, online gets nasty). But for the most part, there's solid multiplayer action to be found here. Only reason why gameplay hasn't gained a high score is being you'll find yourself getting the "seen this, done that" syndrome immediately, especially if you've played the X-Men Legend games. Take it for what you will.

Good game

I bought this game because I was looking for a game that I could star playing and enjoy, that simple, not hard to understand, easy controls, cooperative mode in xbox live, like I said you just place the disc on the console and enjoy it.
I also like the cinemas in this game (I would like more but its ok).
This game don't have the great graphics, but its not very important talking about this game.
In my opinion this is a good game that you may try.

Good game cut at the knees by the publisher

The game is as good as it was 10 years ago, but only after buying it did i learn they discontinued the DLC for this game requiring you to instead buy the Gold version at literally 600% the cost on the used games market. Very disappointed that not only is there no new DLC but the content i enjoyed when I previously owned the game was stripped away. Not cool ActivisionRead full review...

Marvel’s version of Injustice

In looking for something in the Marvel world to compete with DC Comics InJustice games this was the best one I could find. I like it better cause you play with 4 hero’s at a time and you can swap them out with a choice of over 10 other heroes whenever you want to.Read full review...
