I am an adult and really enjoyed reading the complete stories of Mary poppins. Having read about the author , which I suggest you do, I found an interesting undercurrent to the characters. P.L. Travers was a strong no nonsense woman with very strong opinions and Mary P is defiantly the governess that she would have been! I have passed the books on to my 10year old granddaughter and I am sure pleasure will be had by her on reading them. This set of books were an extremely good price, brand new and vacuumed wrapped. I’ve bought 3 sets of the Mary Poppins collection, 1 for me (I’m a HUGE Mary Poppins fan!) and 1 set each for my great-nieces households...I’ve got 4 great-nieces, 2 are my nieces girls and 2 are my nephews girls.
The older ones will read these amazing stories themselves and the younger one will live these as bedtime stories!
