I've been using a Mason Pearson hairbrush since I read about it in Cosmopolitan Magazine in the early 70's. I feel like it cost in the high $20 range back then. Over the years I've had a few because they do kind of wear out if you use them all the time. This purchase, I went back to the original all-boar bristle and I really notice the difference in how it drags the oils from your scalp and gives your hair shine and tamps down the frizzies. It might be a coincidence but in my old age, I can still grow my hair as long as I want and have very little gray.
