Ideal Pole for young and oldie

I can not understand how you can knock out so cheap as the pole goes absolutely brilliant so light and of good quality I'm 75 but can handle this pole for long periods ie 20mins at a time

Maver poles are usually the best but this is not worthy of having a Maver Name on it.

It is not comparable(Will not Fit) with any other of my four Maver poles and as it only came with a top kit in the pole that you can not fit a puller kit to it is in my opinion of very little use. It might suit a small child fishing for the first time but very little else. I have actually given mine to the local tackle shop to give away free to a child just taking up fishing.Read full review...

Maver 950

I have just started fishing again after 5 years, 5 years ago my garage was broken in to around £5000 worth of fishing gear was stolen, i was very reluctant to buy expensive gear again, so when I found this Maver 950 pole at a great price I wasn't sure what it was going to be like. I is exelent quality, very light for its price, brilliant value, would be great for a beginner or experienced fisherman, I would recommend to anyone.

Poor design

It is not a take apart fishing pole as section 2 will not slide over section 3. But needs to be inserted into the 3rd section making that part of the pole telescopic which interfears with the elastication.Read full review...
