Old tech still best

I listen to music late into the early morning. So as to not wake up the mrs I have a small cassette player by the bedside. At low volume I am playing mixtapes ( I loathe Spotify ). Good quality mechanism, tape quality as expected.

I actually bought these to be used as donor cases for some old cassettes, some 40 years old. The transfer was easy and the transport quality is far better than the old budget cases. The shells are fastened by screws and the mechanism has a couple of sturdy rollers mounted on steel pins.

Quality and value product

Clear Sounding on Recording

They are no different now when I was using them 20 years ago , They are Clear sounding ,but as twenty years ago they still suffer a bit of Rasping ect , which can be caused by the Record scratches . BUT GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY .Read full review

OK But rewind first

Came properly sealed but might have been on shelf for a long time because first tape used fluctuated. Wound and re-wound it a couple of times and it seems fine now. Suggest this is done before using tape for first time after purchase to loosen it up a bit.Read full review
