I have bought handheld carpet shamppoers in the past for the stairs and they have not worked effe ctively.This works really well.I used it for the stairs carpet which to be honest I thought had been ruined after work carried out upstairs (which had badly marked the carpet).After just half an hour the carpet looked much better.I think just one more use and it will look like new.Really surprised and happy as it is quite reasonable compared to other brands which have not been half as effective.It is a little heavy but I used it with no strain despite having joint problems.Read full review

You get what you pay for. This is a cheap solution to picking up spills on carpets,easy to operate but with limited suction. Useful and almost unique but it could be better

excellent hand held cleaner with powerfull suction ...well built sturdy construction,

just one tip ! .....the cleaning solution spray jet is mainly for spot stain cleaning,....so for larger areas...i recommend that the solution could be applied with a sponge and larger container......
the machine can then be used on suction only to remove the dirty water.Read full review

Brilliant for small areas (as designed) wish I had bought it months ago

I held off buying this product due to the conflicting comments, and struggled thro the summer with a messy puppy and a large carpet cleaner. I decided to bite the bullet and get one, how I wish I had done so before, it is ideal ....It is not designed for large areas but for spills and stains ideal, as for the weight well you dont even need to hold up if you sit it on the carpet and just push it, problem solved.. if you pressed strongly onto the carpet it does lift the moisture out and leaves the carpet as dry as any wet cleaner does...people said the reservoir box came off easily, if it is put on securely and used level on the floor its fine and as yet we have had no problem with that. I havent actually used the clear water box as I just use a jug and cleaner...BUT for the use it is DESIGNED for I am very happy and wish I had ignored the bad comments....I would have had a much easier summer. i like this very much i was not sure how to use it or were to put the cleaner so i just put warter in it wile i tryed it out, and even without cleaner just me spraying a bit of stain remover on the carpet infrount of it, it cleaned up the stains it did not remove all stains perfect but it lightens them alot so they dont look as bad and that was just on my demo clean witout doing a proper clean with solution, one think im dissapointed at it it did not come with any cleaning solution so i had to order some after i bought the machine so thats why i have not used it properly yet but im sure it will do a good job as it worked well with just warter and a bit of spray carpet stain remover i had in my cubordRead full review

Used it once to test it out. Quite heavy
