Car towing socket

This is a replcement for the plastic socket originaly fitted by the dealership, the cover hinge broke. the change was very straight forward though the original mounting screws were to short for the new socket but my trusty tin of assorted nuts, bolts & screws provided the longer 40mm screws needed.

Bought this towing socket to replace a plastic one where the flap had broken. Definitely a stronger socket. Will see in the long term what the durability is like.
