McCulloch Petrol Strimmer

This strimmer is not only great value for money but it's also well made and easy to use. I've used it several times already with great results, I would definitely recommend this product.

Disappointed

The build quality appears to be good enough but the bump mechanism is poor. Have only used it once and was constantly having to remove the line reel to extend the line manually. Not acceptable and now wish I had purchased another make.Read full review...

lightweight and easy to use

This is my second strimmer from Mc Culloch ,the first one lasted 18yers ,the build quality on this one is as good. Easy to start and use ,its weight is light . My one negative is the actual nylon thread used, it is very expensive.
I am very pleased with the product.

Brilliant lightweight strimmer.

A brilliant lightweight petrol strimmer, ideal for trimming round lawn edges, up against fences etc. Bought this to replace a McCulloch Colibri which is virtually the same strimmer and I have used for last 10-12 years. Both of them weigh just under 4 kilos and so don’t need a harness to support the machine and so makes it more maneuverable. Very easy to start if you follow the instructions. I am in my early 70’s and have no problem using it.Read full review...

Good for the price.

Good value. I have a problem with the bend at the end. I find it difficult to gauge the angle of the “cutting”. Found it easier with my old straight shaft one. Maybe get used to it after a while.

works well

I purchased this to trim the grass bank in my garden. The trimmer is fairly lightweight and easy to use and cut the grass very well. The tap and go spool delivers the line easly when needed. Slight vibration but to be expected from any hand held strimmer. Very satisfied with my purchase.Read full review...

McCulloch TrimMac two stroke petrol strimmer 25cc Split shaft.

This is an ideal strimmer for strimming around trees and hard corners to reach with the mower.
I had this same strimmer and used it regularly. The biggest drawback is that it's really too short. Ideal for shorter people and the ladies. But having said that it starts easily after priming and having never serviced the strimer it always started after the winter off season. Just bear in mind if you're six foot and don't mind strimming looking at your stomach it's brilliant !!Read full review...
