Hispanic kids well coached overcome great odds.

McFarland, USA is a Disney feel good movie of the underdogs-do-good variety. I enjoy watching it. It is rated PG. The story is about some Hispanic high school boys who work really hard in the fields and as a result become quite strong physically. They tend to run to and from work. The subtext of the movie is that with some help from a coach, the hard work of these kids pays off. We see a lot of positive aspects of Hispanic culture. The movie does not tone down bad aspects, however, and there is some gang violence. (No actual violence is shown, just the aftermath.)
