Not bad for the price.
Bought 3 of these and they work most of the time. Have had a few random reboots and one lost all programed data. One randomly just quits working and have to unplug for a minute. Have each one hooked to separate hard drives for recording. Will say they do reasonably well for a $30 dollar item. May order another just to have a spare. Read full review

One of the best Over The Air reciever at a great price.
The unit does a great job of getting the most Over The Air TV that I have seen so far. If you are looking to use this device on an older TV then get this one. If you are expecting to record shows using this device I would hesitate to recommend it. You need a very strong signal feeding this to get a recording. In my area the signal strength is sometimes only about 40%. I would say that 60% is a lowest strength to be able to record with. I do like that it shows what each channel strength is. When you are recording if the unit signal strength drops too low then it will not only stop recording, but the unit itself sometimes locks up. When this happens you will loose access to the USB device plugged into it. You then have to reformat the USB device. This device made my 128GB flash drive so that nothing can use it any more. However, my 2TB USB hard drive still works. Of course my drive only works until the unit losses a signal while recording then I have to reformat the drive again. I do wish that this could be fixed as I do like the unit, just not for recording shows with when I am not home.Read full review

Great when it works correctly
When it works, it's really great, but if your signal drops down it has a tendency to want to freeze up completely with the only option of cycling the power to get it back up. Picture quality is good. It has a nice set of features and options. For the cost, it's nice, just wish the firmware was a little bit more stable.Read full review

Great DVR for the price
I really do love this item. I think it's probably one of the best items I've ever seen. And it does the job well. If you are looking for a low-cost item to record your TV shows it'll work for you. For just around $30 and change you get a device that does the job. My only concern is the other one of these that I purchased had a messed up power supply. On the whole it does the job and this low-cost DVR TV converter box does work well. I've recorded hundreds of hours of TV shows and then just enjoy watching them over and over again.Read full review

Every thing good but the tuner sensitivity
The tuner not very sensitive , lots of pixelation. My tv’s tuner is definitely more sensitive. I like the features and they all are working fine. If you live close to tv stations where signals are 60% or greater you will like it.Read full review

devices face each other and on the same level. Turn it off for timer recording.
For audio sync problem unplug it at the wall socket and wait a long while
