Magical! Dr Joe is inspiring.
If you're looking for some help in changing long-held negative beliefs about yourself and your ability to change aspects of your life, please get this CD set. Dr Joe is excellent at what he does as he is both gentle and compelling. Well thought-out and produced, with soothing music that doesn't summon up any emotional states, this CD set gives you a structure in which to work.
You do need patience though, as for the first week you should listen to only the first track of the CDs, alternating them day by day. You then go back and listen to the first two meditations; by this time you've got on to what you want to change. It is a month or more long process, so requires commitment from you. There is some spiritual content to the programme but it's not overtly religious in any way, so would suit an agnostic or a person with spiritual beliefs alike. The whole programme is based on observations made by neuroscientists about what methods are best to help us train our brains to produce the most beneficial brainwaves to help us make positive changes in ourselves. It would be best used with the book of the same name; however, I have found a PDF of his book so I'm working with that, which should please people during this difficult time financially.Read full review...
