Meguiars ScratchX 2.0 Scratch Remover

I bought this product to help remove some small scratched from my car. My car is black as shows up the tiniest marks, especially in bright sunlight. I was delighted with the results, however when I say scratches, these were very light scratches and were not deep into the paintwork. You might be expecting far too much from the product if you expect it to remove scratches deep into the paintwork, that's a paint job.

It really doesn't remove even the lightest of scratches.Stick to T cut then polish it.Wouldnt recommend this one.

A good name brand and delivers good quality

I know from using other brands of scratch removers that Meguiars stands out from the rest. I use this with !500 water paper followed by 3000 water paper using an orbital sander to remover scratches and bad paint scuffs.This is then followed with a good polishing paste to restore colour and shine. I have only just started to use this product so I am not to sure but some bits that I used it on came up better than others. I may have used to much at once so still getting used to it but Maguiars products work well, a lot does depend on the condition of your paint.Read full review

My grey car

I used this product to try and get some l
Minor scratches from my dark grey car they stand out when it’s sunny
However I’ve gave then two Coates and it has improved not taken them right out but there a great improvement
I’ll continue to weekly coat them after washing can see the difference for minor scratches I would recommend this product

Best Car refurbish/ polisher Yet.

It was the ONLY product I found to erase etching on car bodywork from bird droppings and other blemishes.
Not only was it effective, it was very easy to use and leaves a brilliant shine on bodywork afterwards.

Will remove light scratches reasonably well. Quite a lot of effort needed to achieve results but none the less one of the better scratch removers
