See London in 1970 and Jack Willd. What's not to love?

Wonderful portrait of 1970's London. Some scenes like trip downtown were filmed as they happened (not extras). Jack Wild is in top form, at age 19. Shame he didn't make more films. Adults will enjoy it though it was pretty much made for pre-adolescents. Tracy Hyde also very charming and natural.Read full review

Brilliant & poignant entertainment

A lovely nostalgic film from 1970 and set in London revolving around an innocent relationship between a girl and boy at school.
It's funny, sad, happy - and has a cast of many stars of that era.>Produced by David Puttman and a brilliant soundtrack by the Bee Gees & Crosby,Stills,Nash and Young.
This will appeal to a certain generation of buyer, who likes nostalgic, well written and very well acted entertainment from a time far different to today - but which you can relate to, having experienced that time yourself.
If you are that buyer, I know for certain that you will love this film.
Enjoy !Read full review

Melody

I have loved this heartwarming, poignant and hilarious film since first watching on a Sunday night when it was billed as S.W.A.L.K in my teen years. Wild, Lester and Hyde are terrific in their respective roles. Also love The Bee Gees soundtrack. A great film that takes you back to simpler and kinder times when our only concerns were "What's for tea" and when have I got double maths again!!Read full review

Brilliant period piece

A well scripted and well acted film that presents school and family life in the 1960s very well. There's also lots of good humour and a simple but engaging plot.
