As I say in the title this product is very reasonably priced, especially considering the size of the jar, also of course with this product you are getting the good part of the sugar, all the vitamins, minerals etc. I mix it with all sorts of dishes, to give flavour & colour, very useful, the jars will last quite a long time as not a huge amount is needed each time. The Concentrated Goodness of Sugar Cane
Molasses is an excellent source of iron, calcium, copper and chromium (amongst others). The taste can take a bit of getting used to but I find it quite pleasant now. It also keeps very well because the sweetness stops it from going bad.
Molasses used to be a waste product from the production of white sugar, but it is the concentrated goodness of sugar cane.
