Metal Earth 3D Metal Model - Himeji Castle

Great little castle to build, well worth the price!

This was my fourth Metal Earth model and I found it tricky putting some of the pieces together. The best advise I would give someone assembling this one is to make sure the pieces that make up the base are completely level before tightening any connections! Place it on a flat surface while twisting the tabs so it will sit level throughout the assembly process. Mine turned out great, although there were a few areas where I had to resort to using a drop of super glue to hold the pieces in place. A few of the tabs are so close to an existing piece that getting to them with needle nose pliers or tweezers was just too difficult. Looking forward to my next Metal Earth model!Read full review

Metal puzzle

If you're someone who likes to put together metal puzzles like these you will like this the detail is very good and it takes a little skill to be able to hold it and maneuver the pieces in order to get a good fit but with the proper tweezers and tools the model comes out fine and it looks good on the Shelf.Read full review

Not actually “gold”

Metal Earth calls this a “gold edition”, but the sheets aren’t actually gold — they’re the same color as the regular edition. Happy with my purchase anyway — another attempt to build it. without breaking anything!Read full review
