You owe it to yourself to experience this game

When I had this shipped to me I had my doubts. The series had managed to maintain a very distinct industrial style over the past two games and it knew how to pull it off and I didn't know quite how the game would work in a jungle setting, especially considering the technology of the time. But It seems I was foolish to doubt the great and powerful Kojima, this game rocks. Proving that the PS2 still has an amazing amount of power and versatility behind it, this game (visually speaking) rivals many of the early 7th generation titles and certainly stands by itself as one of the best stealth/action games I've ever played. I wouldn't even suggest you need to be a fan of the series to pick this up, but you'll still want to play the rest of the games along with it.
Memorable characters, memorable scenes, fun gadgets and weapons, unbelievably re-playable with months of excruciating detail going into what could easily be a contender for the best PS2 title ever released, possibly even best game released. AND! As an added bonus, with this release you finally get the opportunity to play the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 games initially released on the MSX2. This version of the game also features a fix to arguably the game's greatest fault, the camera. In this release you now have access to a third person camera which players of modern third person shooters should feel fairly at home with. Of course I can't vouch for the online portion of the game since the servers went down over hear in 2007, but from what I hear it was quite good and it's always nice to have the disk from a collector's standpoint.

Its Metal Gear Solid what more do I have to say?

Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence is a pretty rare game. Hence why it goes between £30 - £60 on here. Comes with MGS3 with a updated camera view control. On the second disc it comes with Metal Gear 1 and 2 (not the ones from the PSone and 2). On the 3rd disc should of had the Metal Gear Online mode. But sadly the servers where shut down a few years back. Any game collector should own this.Read full review...

Great Collectors Addition Especially if you dont Own Metal Gear Solid 3

This is a limited edition PS2 game with a variety of extra modes. This is more for Metal Gear Solid enthusiasts and PS game collectors. Unfortunately, the online mode has now been discontinued but if you are willing to pay the cost for this game, you wont be disappointed.

Ideally, this product would acheive a 5 star rating if you don't already own the original Metal Gear Solid 3.Read full review...
