Truly a masterpiece.

Okay okay okay. Right off the bat, I must say: I am in no way a fan of Michael Jackson. My appreciation for the game stems from the game itself. That said, even people who hate games but love Michael will appreciate this game.

For a 2D sidescrolling beat 'em up, this game has a charm I haven't seen before. Your main method of attack, kicking this magic dust, or flinging it while ducking or jumping is brutally effective. The subtleties of the attack are important too.. the gentle way it drifts aside to do damage lower, farther, or higher than you initially think, is perfectly engineered.

The animations are spot on. The controls are excellent. While the stage 3-2 boss is one of the hardest I've ever faced in a video game, nothing about it keeps me from trying.
