This chatpad is very reliable. It has a mic insertion at the bottom. You can control your audio whether it's game or party audio. It has options for an Xbox record that or Xbox take a screenshot. As I use this chat pad it is as if I'm using my old 360 chatpad with my old 360 controller. All in all I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs it. Although the asking price is a bit too high. I would have gladly paid $20.99 instead of what they ask for, but as I like to say good things aren't cheap and cheap things are good. Chatpad good, mic/earpiece Meh

The chatpad works great and there's hotkeys and very easy to use, however the mic and earpiece don't always work. Might be just mine, a faulty jack or cord or whatever, but kind of frustrating.

Very useful beyond typing

First off it is a great design. Very similar to the Xbox 360 version so easy to adapt to. It has great controls for adjusting the chat versus the game volume. There are also two extra buttons that you can customize for different tasks. One for screenshots and one for recording or whatever you like. Great key pad. keys are a good size. Others I've tried had very small keys. The back light feature is great for gaming in the dark too.

Exactly what I was expecting. I use the side buttons that often aren't programmed with a function to turn on the backlight which helps with getting started typing in low light.

My only concern is the plastic prongs used to guide the connector into the controller. They look like they may break one day. I keep my chat pad on all the time, so that's not too big a concern. Its only fell off the controller once after a small fall on the carpet.Read full review

Good device not exactly as desired

Bought for pso2, it uses fast repeat strokes rather then holding keys, so you cant charge any attacks using the keyboard. Its functions great very responsive and adds direly needed extra hand space on the controller.Read full review
