For the price I paid good product, after learning how to re set to manufacturer spec.

Best advice go on line and learn how to re set to manufacturer original setting before programming.
I had two 120ez that I spent hour better trying to program following instructions was ready to return or throw in trash!
Went on line and found out how to reset to manufactur spec to re program. One took two re sets the other one resets.

Great redesign

If it's been a while since you've had a weather radio, check out the new EZ model. You can select which watches and warnings you want. You could program it to only alert for tornado warnings! No excuses to not have one now. It's also smaller/compact so it does not take up as much room. Get two and give one as a gift! I thought it would make a nice wedding gift. I like it - easy to select what type of alarms you want to receive. Bad side is you can only select 10 different types. Not a big deal, as I only want hurricane related information typically.

Needs an extreme weather only setting.

We need to be able to adjust the setting so we only get awakened for tornado watches and warnings for our county. We don't need thunderstorm warnings. And we don't need any warnings for surrounding counties. Even though we set it for our county, it goes of for neighboring counties, too.
So we will only use it when there is a possibility of tornados in our area.

Our town, Cookeville TN, was hit by an EF 1 tornado in March 2020 which killed 18 people and damaged over 400 buildings. We slept through the first tornado sirens. So I gave this weather radio to my husband for Father's Day this year. We won't use it very often, we hope!Read full review

Easy to use,works very well in the mountains. I like that it works right out of the box without a lot of directions needed for it to work.
