Miele S4212 Canister Vacuum Cleaner

Awesome vacuum, lightweight and powerful

I love Miele this vac. It is the smaller size canister which makes a huge difference to me being much lighter than some of the full sized canisters by Miele. It shipped from Canada and arrived much faster than the estimated window. I was very pleased with the vac, all the attachments, and I love the Turbo head. It is a non-electric head, and, again, I am going for portability and let me tell you some of the models with the big electric heads are quite heavy compared to this model. I love love love it. It is in the C2 series, which means the hose is of a better quality than the C1 series canisters. I would never buy a C1 series again, I had the hose pinching within weeks of use. This hose is the thicker, more durable variety. (why Miele bothers with the crappy hose on the C1's I don't know, it is degrading) Great shipping speed from Canada.Read full review

Lightweight and easy to use!

I have always loved a canister vacuum and when I needed one, I looked everywhere, read reviews etc and thought I'd give this a try. I am not disappointed! It is a lot lighter than my old canister vacuum and moves around easily. Love the "park" feature for storing and carrying it as well. I haven't used the carpet attachment yet, that's one thing I loved on my old vacuum the beater bar. Not sure if it works as well or not and I have read that this particular model does not do well on deep pile carpets so I can't comment. The only suggestion maybe is that they put a rubber bumper strip on the canister for when it moves around and bumps in to the walls/furniture.
