Nice Work Light
Very nice work light. I've used it multiple times now and in many different positions. Throws a lot of light where I need it. Seems to hold a charge even when not using it for long periods of time. This was the right purchase for me. I did buy a twin pack of batteries at the same time and I already have other Milwaukee M12 tools. It's nice only having one type of battery and charger to look after. All have held up for my work needs around the house and shop.Read full review

it's a Milwaukee that means quality. I needed a good light for working on cars and ended up with a awesome light, a M12 that works great and the batteries last forever. Really good flashlight, with some issues
The flashlight itself is great. Extremely bright, the battery lasts forever, attractive and ergonomic, and the light has a really good color to it that makes whatever you're inspecting contrast nicely instead of just turning everything blue like so many LED lights.
I have two complaints though. First, making you pay $15 or so from a place like home depot for the cheap accessory magnet is low-class. It should be included with the light.
Secondly the sliding function of the hook to let it hang horizontally and shine light downward onto something works only in theory. In reality, the detent that holds it is extremely weak. The slightest movement or jostling of the light breaks it loose and the light comes back down. Using an XC battery pack is worse to the point that it won't stay up whatsoever. Hard to believe it reached production with a fault like this.
I thought about giving it 3 stars instead of 4 because of the issues, but as stated the light itself is just really nice.Read full review

You'll put your eye out kid.
This little thing will hurt you and never shine it in somebodies eyes! The quality is second to none and you put the nuclear reactor 6Ah on it, you should have light till the second coming. The hanger hook thingy is pretty cool plus the 1/4X20 thread hole leaves you a lot of options only limited by your imagination. It is really tuff, almost bullet-proof but I don't want to shoot it with my 44 just yet. All in all a great little tool to have and much brighter than one would believe also it's a yellowish light so you have the ability to distinguish wire colors, Thank You!!!!!Read full review

Great Light
It's puts off great light and it's fairly compact for this style of work light. If you've got the M12 stuff get this light. I use this outdoors, in the house, under the hood, you name it. I still want to get a couple more to compare to it, but the form factor seems to be unique for this style of battery operated tool. I want to get a Dewalt dcl050 to compare it to, but it seems to have more bulk than this light.

MILWAUKEE M12 LED inspection lamp
Fantastic stick ! It's MILWAUKEE product, what more must I say? This lamp blows the daylight outta me. Sorry it was a pun.
In short great light and now I can work late night on my cars.
I will stick a Neodymium Magnet at the battery butt so I can stick it on any metalic surface like the bonnete of my cars. The body is strong, unbreakable even.
I suggest buying battery from "POWER-EXTRA" These batterie are M12 replacement, better than the original, Power-extra batteries are 2500mAH or 30Watt/H and costs $17 inclusive of shipping.
I have dealt with CPO before, they are good. I highly recommend buying from CPO.

Tough...
Ive dropped mine 20 or more times from under a car on the lift. Never broke .i did leave it under 2 different cars and it made its way back home. Youll need the optional magnet as the hook is a bad design. If it was solid and didnt move it would be more useful. Buy one.. cant kill these lights.Read full review
