Saved my arm

After surgery on my arm my grip strength was near none. Manually cutting 1" schedule 80 PVC was downright painful. Near the end of the week I was in too much pain to squeeze anything. After buying this I'm able to actually do my job pain free, and in a timely manner once again. Battery life is good, and so far there have been zero issues cutting. Did not work I try to use it to cut 2” pvc pipe and It was impossible, the battery was broken and the tool
It self was full of a blue substance, the trigger was also missing, after loosing and giving away my money to you I went to the big box store and I got a new tool

Small powerhouse, highly useful

I had been using Milwaukee's 10" miter saw to cut PVC pipe to length, as it is much faster to do this than the hand tool. However, I hated putting up plastic sheeting to catch all the PVC bits and cleaning up the saw after wasn't fun. Didn't even know this tool existed, but as soon as I found I purchased. I have a 2.0 battery in it, and it'll run a good 50-60 cuts of 2" Sch 40 pipe before the battery drops down to 25%.

Great tool safe cuts like butter

I love this tool great for the price came a bit grimy and dirty but after cleaning it up putting a new blade cuts thru pvc like butter it looks brand new now .great for the price.. Quick release did not work but its just the way i wanted it do not want anyone hitting the quick release and getting cut. Especially if i take it home and my kids see it pick it up it could be bad. Small tool Big power

The small but very powerful Milwaukee 2470-20 cuts right thru 2" schedule 80 pvc with a whole lot less effort than a manual pvc cutter. It will save a lot of time. It is not tool for cutting old brittle pipe. Use the Milwaukee hack sawl for cutting the old pipe.Read full review

This PVC cutter is easy to use. It took me 5 minutes of reading instructions to learn to use it. I'm a 69 yr. old woman. I needed 2 hands to hold the thing (not heavy - I have arthritis). The PVC was placed on a sawhorse and a friend held it steady. I balanced the butt end of the M12 against my tummy, lined up the cutting edge on the marked PVC, and pushed the buttons. Perfectly square and ready to glue.

There are not enough words to describe this tool. This is my second one of these because I accidentally knocked my old one into a septic tank. I bought a new one but I took the old one apart to see what it looked like (after I had completely cleaned it). I re-assembled the old tool and it still works just fine. These are better than sliced bread. It makes repairs so simple. Perfectly sharp cuts, no burrs and no cleaning the pipe after using a saw.
