Review of FFX and Milwaukee Polisher/Sander

First the tool, I have long been a fan of Milwaukees tool, in particular the 12v (they also do 18v and 24v and corded). The tools are compact and very powerful, the first tool I got was the combi drill with pneumatic hammer function. This is a fantastic drill putting a lot of 18v drills to shame. I have never needed anything more powerful even when doing tasks such as masonry and metal working. The new brushless electric motors are even more powerful. I also have the impact driver and now the polisher. The polisher I bough so I can tend to my car in my own time. It's is very comfortable to use with little vibration and the additional handle makes light work of prolonged use. The 4.0mah battery runs for ages too, and charges in about 20 mins. I have not used the high speed sanding setting yet but I know that will be just as impressive. I know it is a lot of money, but thanks to FFX providing a nice discount it is absolutely well worth the money.

As for FFX themselves, I have to say they are the best seller on eBay I have encountered so far with astonishingly good customer service, excellent communication with accurate descriptions and competitively priced. TBH even if they were more expensive I would still buy from them just for peace of mind.
It almost feels like dealing with a family run company as it has that kind of pride and attention to detail other sellers do not. Also I got it 5 days sooner than expected.

The only problem is the battery only lasts about 20 minutes I am now going to order bigger batteries to see if it’s any better,I think I will get a mains electric polisher next time

Powerful batteries set this polisher apart from the rest

We have a couple of very similar hand polishers which are very good, but, the batteries are let them down, they don't last long and are forever being charged.
This Milwaukee has more torque, you can feel it straight away and comes with 4 Ah and 2 Ah batteries. I've not used for a long period yet, but sometimes you just know when a product has more legs.
