Over sensitive to wind
In common with other lanterns of this type, There is no sensitivity or 'time on' settings to adjust so you are stuck with about a minute of on time after it is triggered. I also found that it was too sensitive and was on most of the time whenever it was windy. Probably because the wind gusts was changing the temperature of the PIR lens. I have managed to fix this latter problem by attaching a 1" length of black hose to the PIR which sticks out a bit. It;s still very sensitive, and triggers when cars go past in the street or when someone walks past the house about 4M away, but not whenever it is breezy. worth the money and quite stylish
For the money this is a good lantern. Nice touch to supply the correct bulb type. Simple to assemble although a little fragile (not as strong as hoped) Not fitted to wall as yet because the old ( failed) unit has started working again. Lol. Read full review...
